Karan Johar’s new movie would be directed by debutante Siddharth Malhotra, who is the the grandson of the late Prem Nath.
Bollywood actress Kajol and Kareena Kapoor would be working in the movie. Both the actress came together for Karan’s movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, way back in 2001.
Siddharth was the creative producer of the hit TV serial Sanjivani and was responsible for conceptualising and shaping it.

Though, the title of the movie is not finalised yet, but it’s being said that it would be based on the Hollywood flick, Stepmom (1998), starring Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.
Sources said, the shooting of the film will begin as soon as Kajol wraps up the shoot of Karan’s My Name Is Khan, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
